Hormone Balancing Elixir
This mug is everything you could want from a drink to soothe those hormones, it really does feel like a hug in a mug!
Cacao is a great source of magnesium which aids relaxation and essential in hormone health (think reducing period cramps and headaches).
I also love maca which has a slightly caramel, nutty flavour and has been shown to stimulate the endocrine system, supporting hormone balance, improving energy levels and some studies have shown that is can be very supportive with fertility too ( for more info on maca watch my health from home on my IGTV) .
I also add cinnamon for its naturally sweet flavour but also it is great at supporting balanced blood sugar levels which are vital for hormone balance.
Try my hug in a mug:
1 mug of milk (Oat/Almond/Hemp etc)
2 tsp of cacao powder
1 tsp of maca powder
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of raw honey/maple syrup
Mix all the powders in our mug, heat up your milk with a frother or in a pan. Add a splash of milk to the powders and mix to form a paste. Then add the rest of the milk and the honey/maple syrup until all combined.
